Jayaprakash learnt the trade from craftsmen who expected him to watch carefully, try for himself and redo the work when necessary. He remembers how much patience it took to teach him. Now, at Technowood, he gives that same time to newer craftsmen. Several have learnt to handle their first complete piece with his guidance. When someone gets stuck, he pulls up beside them and works through it together. Watching them become confident enough to work on their own is something he takes pride in.
